The Destroyer Of Pleasures

One day you will die,
And at first people will mourn,
When they think of you.

But life will go on,
And you will be as distant
As their last night’s dream.

You will still be there,
Drowning in a sea of sins,
In a lightless hole.

And your cries will fall,
On the deaf ears of people
Ignorant as you.

And every soul will
Be made aware of the truth
Without a warning.

How do you warn them,
When you couldn’t warn yourself
When you were alive.

A moment of fun,
Has given you nothing but
Eternal regret.

Remind yourself of
The Destroyer of Pleasures
Before its too late.
